Someone Said is the online game show in which players race to unscramble memorable quotes and match them with their famous authors. It's the only game show anybody can play from anywhere in the world. The quote authors are briefly introduced at the start of the show.
Click on the Play arrow to watch the daily narrated slideshow. Then click the Daily Game button to unscramble quotes and match them with their authors. You must click on the words of each jumbled quote to put them in the correct order. You receive ten points for each correctly worded quote and six points if you put half of the words in the correct order. Then you have two turns to click on the name of the person you think said it. You receive ten points for selcting the correct author on your first choice and six points on your second choice.
You have 60 seconds to complete each question. You can use up to 50 seconds to unscramble the quote, leaving ten seconds to identify the author. The quicker you unscramble a quote, the more of your alloted 60 seconds you have to identify the author. Any unused seconds are divided by ten and added to your score as a time bonus. You also receive ten points whenever three squares in a row are matched.
In the game show, only one player on each team attempts one of the questions. Your teammate(s) can see your progress in unscrambling the quote and the number of words correctly ordered by both players. They will also see your first wrong choice in identifying the quote author. Your teammate(s) can offer advice, but it will also be heard by the other team.
The players on the winning team each receive the dollar amount of their score in an eGift voucher for a food delivery service (GRUBHUB). The players on the losing team receive the dollar amount of their score divided by the number of players. If you log in with your Facebook or Google ID in a Daily Game, you can save your favorite quotes, but you can also play by just typing in a name.
